With plenty of rain currently being experienced in Makueni, Sand Authority staff planted trees around the Sand Authority offices in Wote. Echoing Prof. Wangari Maathai, we need to teach the public the importance of taking care of the environment and sustainability.

Every seed planted offers hope, every plant watered brings life, and every tree nurtured is a gift to future generations. Trees replenish the soil and fight drought, let us take advantage of the rain and plant more trees.
