Makueni County Sand Conservation and Utilization Authority notes with concern the misrepresentation, misreporting and misleading nature of the information and clarifies that the Government of Makueni County has not opened the commercial sale of sand and only sand for local use will continue to be accessed from designated sites as has been in the past.
