Located in Kikameni village, Watema Location in Kaiti Subcounty. Construction was funded by Sand Authority in partnership with African Sand Dam Foundation in the financial year 2020/2021.The sand dam is constructed across Kwa Nthei River which joins Athi river at the lower point and has sand storage capacity is 16422m³.
