1.     Investigate, apprehend offenders of Sand Authority law,

2.     Sentry duty,

3.     Performing guard duties,

4.     Partaking in the guard parades,

5.     Inspecting vehicles transporting sand

6.     Maintaining daily signal logbook,

7.     Driving of government vehicle and motorcycles,

8.     Carrying out regular patrols in the sand sites and areas to ensure compliance

9.    Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, mean Grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification recognized
2. in Kenya;
3. Be above 18 years of age
4. Be physically fit
5. Be a residence of Makueni County
6. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity and
7. Article 232 on values and Principles of Public Service.
